PRINT CONTROL METHOD ON PHARMACEUTICAL VIALS
To control these bulbs we developed a way to detect any marking defect (lack of ink or excess of ink) and then recognize the printed content (the lot number, the expiration date). The inspection is made with a linear camera associated with a laser light while the bulbs are rotating on themselves at 9 revolutions per second.
The HCI interface becomes a good dashboard for the line's chef: counting of the number of controlled bulbs, number of defects for each control area and adjustment of the defects detection's threshold.
